This is a follow up video to my Lectric XP ODO / Speedometer problem of not reading on the display. Everything has been working except for those two.  

New Controller

So Lectric sent me a new controller to fix the problem.

It was an easy install. Lectric has a great Video tutorial for changing this. And happy to say that it works and fixed the issue at hand!

Check it out. Looking forward to getting back to the fun part of the bike with all functions and cruising around.

The new controller is a little faster in pedal assist 2. Seems to control the current a little better too.

This eBike is going to need safeties in place as people will push the bike to the max on different terrain around the county.  

Tip

My tip would be when you are on a long hill or straight away keep an eye on your current. if you are drawing 18 -19 for a long period of time it will be hard on the bike. The controller should take over but keep it in mind.

If you drive a car hard it will not last as long. Don’t think eBikes are any different. Time will tell as they evolve over the years.

I still highly recommend the Lectric XP

Bottom line, I still highly recommend the Bike. It is a great way to get introduced to the eBike industry.

I think it is the hottest, best bang for the buck value eBike on the Market.

Lectric XP is a lot of fun to ride and will take you places you never thought you could go.

With anything electronic things are going to happen. It has always been my experience that if they do, it will usually be in the first few months.

In my opinion this bike will keep getting better and better. Can’t wait to see what Lectric comes up with next.

Lectric customer support has been outstanding.

The eBike market is on fire right now and exploding with new companies. Patience is the key. Most companies bikes are on back orders and some just are just getting caught up after a crazy spring and summer.

If you have not already check out (EBR) Electric Bike Review .com you need to. EBR does a great job on eBike reviews and information. There are also forums on there too with great info. Fantastic place to do research.

On the plus side of things

Look at it this way… if you do order this bike now, you will have all of next summer to ride and it will still be under warranty. Lectric XP Web Site for more info.
